Gemkom Engineering and Machinery Filial is a newly established branch of the Turkish company Gemkom. It is a leading engineering and manufacturing company that operates in a number of areas and in various ways within the steel industry.

We are participating in a project where Stegra AB establishes a steel mill in Norra Svartbyn in Boden where steel will be produced through an almost fossil-free process using hydrogen gas. Our mission is, among other things, to install machines used in steel production and includes work in mechanics, electronics and plumbing.

We now want to employ an Electrical Foremans. The work tasks may include but are not limited to:

QUALIFICATIONS

· We are looking for Electrical Foreman Team Members who are prone to team work within GEMKOM Engineering and Machinery Filial in a project that will last until DECEMBER 2027 in BODEN, Sweden.

· At least 5 years of experience in Steel Structure Construction ; Contracting works, Electrical Project -Mechanical Equipment Power Lines Drawing and commissioning.

· Having the ability and experience to work in accordance with ISO EN Norms

· Able to read Technical Drawings and Projects, prone to Teamwork

· The main duties of the Electrical Foreman are to coordinate operations and supervise workers on construction sites. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, he will be a key person for the completion of a project.

· Electrical foreman has a solid background in the field. His leadership skills and his extensive experience have earned him the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. He must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.

· High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade or Valid license to practice profession (electrician, etc.)

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans

· Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew

· Allocate general and daily responsibilities

· Supervise and train workers and trades people

· Ensure manpower and resources are adequate

· Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met

· Supervise the use of machinery and equipment

· Resolve problems when they arise

· Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.

· Proven experience as Electrical foreman

· Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems

· In-depth knowledge of construction Electrical work procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines

· Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems

· Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints

· Excellent organizational and leadership skills

· Ability to communicate and report effectively

· Aptitude in math

· Problem-solving abilities

· Good physical condition and stamina
